So this past week we've been delving into Classes and the steps we should take before jumping into actually writing out the code (implementation). I found the usage of Property to stop an attribute from being modified once initialized once useful-however the other aspects of Classes being taught were relatively identical to what we were taught previously in 108. As for the Lab/Tutorial, the session reacquainted us with the use of nested dictionaries and aggregating them in a class; and generally the lab forced us to think a little more carefully before rushing to implementation.
Going forward I plan on continuing to detail my thoughts about the course, as well as any insights gleaned from other courses and the internet. Hopefully by the end of these SLOGs one can get a good sense of what CSC148 will inculcate in a student's mind.
